A hovercraft at Ryde, Isle of Wight, England. Having just left the Hoverport at Ryde, the hovercraft which was bound for Portsmouth, was just picking up speed as it passed the Harbour mouth, on its journey across the Solent.

Thank you Geoff. I've been to the Island many times and ridden these hovercraft a few times also. Many years ago, we used the hovercraft from Pegwell Bay, Ramsgate to Calais and took the car across as well.
