Description

The Market Cross at Stow-on-the Wold, Gloucestershire, England. The Market Cross was erected in the 15th Century, as a reminder to the medieval traders in the Market Square to trade fairly and honestly. The cross has been restored several times and one of the additions was the cross head, which shows four different sculptured themes.
