Bearing to the right, the road becomes Station Road and this leads to the now disused railway station, the tea rooms and just a few other buildings.
The coastal village of Ravenscar is known as the town that never was. Victorian planners in the late 19th century, had hopes to build a holiday resort at Ravenscar, but the public were just not interested and only a handful of houses were ever built.
